Its not too often that we actually witness a fairy tale story in our lives, yet I had the oppurtunity to be part of one. It was the weekend when a team of 38 MBA Students from a little known Odette School of Business took Canada by surprise. We were a team that gave an unmatched all round performance in all areas of the National MBA Games that played host to 13 leading business schools. From sports, academic competitons, spirit events and events where one only made a fool of themselves, the Odette team made their presence felt.
We came in second overall, a stark contrast from our position in last year's games. We had vowed last year that we would make a difference and we surely did. It was the one weekend when these 38 stars were shining bright in unison - a real life fairy tale. We all stepped up to the plate - even if it meant playing the Nose Flute in front of 100s of people.
